Growing up playing sports my whole life and constantly being surrounded by teammates, I have gained leadership skills and learned how to work collaboratively with others. Especially now being on the Women’s Lacrosse team at Muhlenberg I have grown into a key team player. I do not only hold myself accountable but my teammates as well. As a student-athlete, I have to manage my time and responsibilities, this has helped shaped me into a strong team player and has overall advanced my communication skills. Being constantly taught on the field and in the classroom has shaped me into a coachable individual and has taught me how to receive feedback and adjust it. Overall, playing at the collegiate level has taught me to implement leadership skills both on and off the field. The ability for me to express my positive attitude and lead others allows me to take upon challenges that come my way both on the field and within my academics as well.
